IMPORTANT: This website is operated by a licensed Florida attorney. Use of this website does not create an attorney-client relationship. Nothing on this site constitutes legal advice. Please read these Terms carefully before using this website.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website at fisherfamilylawandmediation.com (the “Website”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Website immediately. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Website.

Fisher Family Law & Mediation (“the Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting to the Website. Continued use of the Website following any modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

2. No Attorney-Client Relationship

Your use of this Website—including submitting a contact form, requesting a consultation, sending an email, or engaging in any chat or text communication initiated through this Website—does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Fisher Family Law & Mediation or Christy M. Fisher, Esq.

An attorney-client relationship is established only through a signed written retainer agreement executed by both parties. Until such an agreement is signed, we have no obligation to maintain the confidentiality of any information you submit through this Website, and you should not send us any information through this Website that you consider confidential or privileged.

If you are involved in a legal matter, you should consult with a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction as soon as possible. Time limits (statutes of limitations and procedural deadlines) may affect your legal rights, and delay in seeking counsel may be harmful to your case.

3. No Legal Advice

All content on this Website—including articles, blog posts, FAQs, guides, practice area descriptions, and any other materials—is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this Website constitutes legal advice, and nothing should be relied upon as such.

Legal outcomes depend on the specific facts and circumstances of each individual case, applicable law, and the jurisdiction involved. Information that applies to one situation may not apply to another. We make no guarantees, warranties, or representations about the accuracy, completeness, or applicability of any content on this Website to your specific situation.

You should not act or refrain from acting based on information found on this Website without first seeking advice from a licensed attorney familiar with the specific facts of your situation.

4. Florida Bar Advertising Compliance

Christy M. Fisher, Esq. is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida. This Website constitutes attorney advertising under the Rules Regulating the Florida Bar, including Rules 4-7.1 through 4-7.22 and Rule 4-8.6.

No representation is made that the quality of legal services to be performed is greater than the quality of legal services performed by other lawyers. Past results and client testimonials do not guarantee or predict similar outcomes in future matters. Every case is different and must be evaluated on its own merits.

The principal office of Fisher Family Law & Mediation is located in Brevard County, Florida. Christy M. Fisher is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Family Mediator.

5. Mediation Services Disclosure

Christy M. Fisher serves as a neutral mediator in family law matters. In her capacity as a mediator, she does not represent either party and does not provide legal advice to any participant in a mediation proceeding.

Participation in mediation is voluntary unless ordered by a court. Mediation is confidential pursuant to Section 44.405, Florida Statutes. Mediated agreements are not binding until reduced to writing and signed by the parties.

If you engage Christy as a mediator in a matter, you are encouraged to have independent legal counsel review any proposed mediated settlement agreement before signing.

6. Communications and Automated Contact

By submitting a contact form, consultation request, or any other inquiry through this Website, you consent to receive electronic communications from us, including email, and—if you provide a mobile telephone number—text message (SMS) communications.

Our firm uses an automated client relationship management and lead response system (GoHighLevel) that may send automated text messages and emails in response to your inquiry. These automated responses are not substitutes for a consultation with an attorney. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of text communications at any time by replying STOP to any text message.

By providing your telephone number on any form on this Website, you represent that you are the authorized account holder of that number and that you consent to receive calls and/or text messages at that number from Fisher Family Law & Mediation. Your consent to receive automated text messages is not required as a condition of any purchase or service.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website—including text, graphics, logos, photographs, videos, audio, and the compilation thereof—is the property of Fisher Family Law & Mediation or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable United States copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may view, download, and print content from this Website solely for your personal, non-commercial use, provided you do not modify or delete any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, transmit, sell, or create derivative works from any Website content without our prior written consent.

The name “Fisher Family Law & Mediation,” the firm’s logo, and the tagline “Your Advocate for a Peaceful Resolution” are trademarks or service marks of the Firm. Nothing on this Website grants you any license to use these marks.

The Website may contain links to third-party websites for your convenience. These links do not constitute endorsement of the linked sites, their content, or their operators. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. You access linked sites entirely at your own risk.

FISHER, ESQ., OR ANY OF THE FIRM’S AGENTS, AFFILIATES, OR CONTRACTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THIS WEBSITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

In no event shall the Firm’s total liability to you for all claims arising from your use of this Website exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00).

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Fisher Family Law & Mediation, Christy M. Fisher, Esq., and their respective agents, contractors, and representatives from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or attorneys’ fees arising out of or relating to your use of the Website or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Website shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Brevard County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Fisher Family Law & Mediation with respect to your use of the Website and supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements and understandings.
